Ostwald Helgason

Our collections are eclectic and yet wearable, characterised by rich prints, fine materials, vibrant colours and playful cuts - inspired mainly by art, dance and film.
The emphasis is on high quality garments and accessories, reached by combining high tech methods and traditional craftsmanship. Our aesthetic comes through in our playful design and we revel in colours. Our prints communicate the spirit of our design and the cuts fuse classic aspects of design with a contemporary understanding.

Susanne Ostwald was born 1979 in Leipzig, Germany and has an MA in Fashion Design from the art college Burg Giebichenstein in Halle.
Ingvar Helgason was born 1980 in Reykjavik, Iceland, studied Fashion Design in Copenhagen and worked as a tailor in Iceland before taking on studies in Fashion Management and Marketing in London. They met while working in a London design studio.
